Alright, ladies we all could use an apron around the holidays. With all the baking, cooking and crafting…wearing one would fit the activities this season and beyond. Just look at that apron isn’t it a beaut? I think so. I can totally picture myself wearing one and being domesticated with a huge smile on my face. Unfortunately, I don’t get to win it YOU do. The creator of this apron is a mother of 3 girls and has her own Etsy site. Brandy otherwise known as Stitchblade sews up some wonderful creations and was gracious enough to offer “Vintage Rosey”.

Vintage Rosey is made entirely from a vintage pillowcase! This upcycled apron features long ties and 2 roomy pockets. As Brandy put it “Not one piece of the pillowcase is spared in the making of this lovely apron!”

 I love that it’s handcrafted with care and made right here in the U.S.A – using old pillowcases, sheets or what have you, is a great way to re-use! Re-using rather than buying from a fabric store makes this apron totally unique. Who would’ve thought a pillowcase could also be turned into an apron? Brandy was keeping the planet in mind while making Vintage Rosey and for that she deserves a pat on the back. It’s truly a fashionable upcycled apron.  You can find more of her aprons here!

    well I love the rose one you’re featuring best, roses are my fave! If I had to choose another it would probably be a full length apron – I’m like pigpen in the kitchen LOL
