BTW- I’m 32 wks. preggo not 34…my pregnancy brain has lead me to believe I was 2 wks. further along than I am. LOL!

Okay, so lately I’ve been nesting and realizing that there is sooo much to do sooo little time.  We ordered the birth kit and water tub last night, which I plan to write about in a seperate post. I’m a peeing machine. Baby Clark is definitely on my bladder and it’s non stop. My mood has been good. We have a wishlist of things we need to get before he arrives and I’m hoping he’ll at least get a few of them. I’m having a shower next month and hoping it’ll be green as much as possible. I’ve put together the evites and just need to go over them with MIL who’s throwing the shower. Looking at several ways to green up the shower but that’s another post too! Clark weighs about 4- 4 1/2 pounds so he’s gaining everyday/week.

Other than that…just keeping a list together of what things need to get done-  I feel like a nesting nazi….LOL!

The Toxins Around Us

Lately, I have not had the chance to point out some very disturbing news about toxins that I’ve learned about recently. Bad Eco Mom!!! You might have heard these issues by now… Salmonella in our Peanut Butter, Mercury in High Fructose Corn Syrup, Lead found in our children’s toys and even in lipstick! By golly, what’s next! Us mom’s already have so much to worry about and when issues like this arise, it makes us think twice about what were purchasing and how were detoxifying our homes. Why is the ball being dropped on us like this? We shouldn’t have to worry about these type of issues. In my opinion, ultimately, it’s up to us to make informed decisions. As an Eco Mom I make these decisions everyday. Wooden toys vs. Plastic, Processed foods vs. Homemade/Organic, All Natural, Green Cleaners vs. TOXIC cleaners…and so and so on!  The women at Momversations put together a video which has some very good points. Alice Bradley asks “Is the toxin danger real or just hype?” What do you think?

I’m curious to know too, who did  POOP IN THE PEANUT BUTTER?
