Hello there!

Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday! We took off last Tuesday evening for Trinity. We stayed with our friends who own the Bonanza King Resort and also with family who drove in from Washington. We had a great time. I apologize for neglecting things here. I’m still in the process of a makeover and many other things. Time has been such an issue! I hate to sound like a broken record- I know I’ve been telling you this now for over a month.

Thank you for being patient with me while I take on one thing at a time. The holiday rush is already here and I’m excited about Baby C’s first Christmas…and the spirit of! I’m looking forward to this holiday season. We wanted to stop for a Christmas tree on our way down from Coffee Creek and didn’t get that opportunity because we were exhausted and wanted to get home.  9 hours in a car can drive you a little batty! We made it though and it’s good to be back.

After singing Old McDonald a million times and pointing out the California farmland and animals, discussing our trip and other distractions we survived. It was a LONG drive though! Baby C was asleep for most of it and did get unhappy along the way but we didn’t have to make as many stops as we had thought. We experienced our first 14oo mile round trip with Baby C and I’d say he’s our little traveling man just like T!

I attempted to take a ton of pics but still forget to take some important ones. O’well. That’s life in the mama lane!

Oh! and please don’t hate me but I’m going to extend t he Retro Razor contest till Dec 14th! :)

I’ll post pictures separately- promise!

Be sure to stay tuned for an upcoming interview with an awesome eco entrepreneur that you’ll be amazed by!

This is T dressed up for Barnes & Noble storytime on Tuesday morning!

He’s dressed up as a cowboy but he’ll tell you he’s a “Bullrider”- LOL!

We carved pumpkins last night, baking the seeds today- our chickens at the guts out of it…we will compost it when Halloween is over!

Our decorations are from a little old lady in Pasadena who cleaned out her garage and probably swallowed a spider while doing so! They’re old 80’s decorations but they are like new and still intact. I love the skeleton one the best- reminds me of the good ole’ elementary days!

We have hanging ghosts and a bat- they’re actually pretty cool- the eco tot loves them!

We will reuse them until they shred and are no longer…

We plan to BOONESTLE and have a SPOOKTACULAR night!

We are actually going to be Reverse Trick-Or-Treating for the first time—wish us luck!

The hub and I may even get the privilege of going to a Haunted House!

HAVE A SAFE HALLOWEEN!

(You’ll get to see the finished product tomorrow!)

So much to do so little time!

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a great weekend! :)

Have I mentioned how hectic life is right now? It seems like I’m up to my ears with things I need to do! Including getting this site up to par. I’ve been trying to get this done for over a year now- and I SERIOUSLY need to do it. I keep putting it off! I’ve been doing a lot of re figuring and organizing on paper and now need to put it in action. With that in mind-if you don’t see any posts up- you’ll know why! I also need to store some data from this lappy onto a stick because I’m running out of space!  When it’s all said and done I’m hoping this site will be functional, organized, and FUN…

Just for YOU. Please, stay tuned!

I hope you understand and will bear with me as I revamp. I may check in once or twice but if you notice the quiet- just know I’ll be back in FLASH!

I’ll be thinking about ya! :)

And for any new mama’s or mama’s looking to build their stash!

Today is International Day of Peace!

At this very moment, UN peacekeepers around the world are risking their lives in the name of peace.

These men and women in blue helmets – more than 100,000 in total, making them the second largest deployed military in the world – can be found in 16 of the world’s most dangerous conflict areas.

Coastal Cleanup Day

A friendly reminder that you have one more day to register and be part of the action!

September 19th, 2009 is the

24th annual International Coastal Cleanup Day

“Last year’s Cleanup, nearly 400,000 volunteers collected more than 6.8 million pounds of trash in 100 countries and 42 US states — the largest volunteer effort of its kind.

The Cleanup is crucial in determining  the impact ocean trash has on wildlife and how it correlates with global warming. Each year the report is compelling:

Of the 43 items tracked during the Cleanup, the top three items of trash found in 2008 were cigarette butts, plastic bags, and food wrappers/containers.

Get out there if you can this year and help. Be part of the largest volunteer effort…

There is a possibility that we may be attending the event in Ventura…but it’s not set in stone. If you can’t get involved this year, remember that it falls on the 3rd Saturday of each September!!

Will definitely keep you posted.  Have a great weekend!  :)

Will YOU be volunteering to cleanup?

Our Last DAY

Tomorrow we leave the beautiful area of Mammoth Lakes, CA. It’s been such an adventure and we’ve enjoyed the amazing scenery of the Eastern Sierra. Wildflowers hug the edge of paths and are in most flower beds in our condo complex. The hot springs experience was incredible. Starry nights with the Milky Way hovering so clearly. Even though this trip I’ve been eaten alive…it’s still worth every moment. Watching Tristan and Clark enjoy nature makes my heart pitter pat.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday and our anniversary on this trip! Yesterday, Tyler and I married in Yosemite, 4 yrs. ago. We’ve been together for 12 yrs! We met our senior year of  H.S. – shared a class together and met through a mutual friend.  Being here with our  boys is way the perfect way to celebrate!
