Review: Stockmar Colouring Blocks- Pure Beeswax Fun!

Awhile back, before all the holiday hustle and bustle my son received about ten boxes of colouring blocks (each color in a separate box-some w/same color) from Stockmar. It was a generous amount and T-Man is going to have Stockmar crayons for a good while. I’m so thrilled. I even shared some with his playmate Abigail. The mom’s whom I’ve shared them with have commented that they like the block style. I really dig the block style too AND so does my son. 

Stockmar has created a fantastic line of colors while using 100% all natural ingredients. These colouring blocks and their wax crayons are made with pure beeswax. The color that comes off of each block is vibrant and brilliant. It’s not like the regular crayons I’m used to. Most crayons are dull looking upon use. I’m truly amazed at the bright colors that they created and how well it looks on paper. The colors are really quite appealing to the eyes!

My son can hold these blocks easily.They’re great for toddler’s, just the right size and shape. We recently purchased an art easel for X-Mas in order for T -Man to start tuning into his creative/artsy side and he enjoys using the colouring blocks as much as I get a kick out of watching him create. I even sneak in a few scribbles and pictures. The smoothness of the colouring block really makes you want to keep coloring, REALLY.

Stockmar is based in Germany but has a U.S. site named art makes sense. This site has many eco fabulous art supplies to choose from- for the budding artist - artist/painter in general this is the site for you! You’ll even find a selection of eco-friendly toys. They even suit a crafter or hobby need as they also carry felt, wool, pearls and beads and candle making accessories.

I’d love to try the All Natural Body Paint for those days that you’re thinking of something fun to do- face&body painting would be so much fun with the kids. On the top of my list of things to try; is the Anti-Dust chalk. The art easel we bought for my son is a 3 in 1- so it’s a dry erase board, art board and chalk board.

I cannnot thank Stockmar & Mercurius-USA enough for sending the sample boxes to my son. He really enjoys using them and always asks for his “Crayons”.
