This month, the Los Angeles Convention Center will be hosting the Go Green Expo event.  From January 23-25th, 2009, consumers or business owners have the opportunity to learn about green products and services all under one roof. It’s a great place to connect and find out what’s going on in the eco world.  Ed Begley Jr. and Mariel Hemingway are some of the big name keynote speakers for the event. There are several panels going on that you can be part of too! 

Friday the 23rd is exclusive to retail & wholesale buyers, purchasing managers & agents, government / city procurement officers and decision makers who make corporate purchases on behalf of their organizations, agencies & companies.

The 24th & 25th is open to the general public. I attended the event last year and it was quite an event. I had the chance to ask questions about certain green products I’d purchased or had thought about purchasing. I also found out about new products that hadn’t hit the stores yet. From baby, fashion, pets, health & wellness to the home- Go Green Expo covers all the bases.

This year, I’m planning to attend in hopes of gaining more insight on sustainability and gain knowledge in the products that are out there that I’m not using yet. The Go Green Expo is an all around eco-friendly 3 day showcase with exhibitors & vendors including  Brighter Planet, Buy Green, Eco Kids USA, Glee Gum, Kiwi Magazine, Klean Kanteen, Theo Chocolate, Your Daily Thread and many more. I’m planning to cover this eco-event for you in case you aren’t able to attend…stay tuned for the update! 

If you don’t live in LA- the Go Green Expo is traveling to other major cities. They may be coming to a city near you.
